Service Offered

Myofascial Release 60 min $135

John Barnes MFR.

60 min of treatment time on the table. We address your concerns holistically. Movement and structural assessment will help us direct the session.

Wear loose fitting gym shorts and sports bra/tank top (if applicable).

Please refrain from applying creams and oils the day of the session.

We start with a movement and structural assessment. We will use Cross hand release, soft traction, and sustained holds to create lasting change in the body. Tools will be used for structural realignment when needed. Each movement will last approximately 3-5 min (sometimes longer) softening the fascia to release in multiple areas of the body. Results include sustained tension, pain relief, improved mobility, structural realignment, and often emotions are released in the process.

Notes on Care to relieve pain and THRIVE

Many clients experience tremendous progress from chronic and acute conditions within 6 and 12 sessions.

Based on results, it is highly recommended to come in for myofascial release at least 1x per week. Based on what you have going on and how acute and chronic your pain experience has been, it may be recommended to come 2x or 3x per week.

Sometimes it takes longer and it is important not to rush the process. Sometimes change happens in intervals and progress is felt on a subtle level. Myofascial release works on a deep level to unwind fascial restrictions, letting blood and oxygen to flow in areas that were previously blocked, creating pathways of release throughout the nervous system and muscular/skeletal system. It can take time for this work to work and once it does, it has a  throughout the body.
